It’s nice traveling with friends in other coaches as you can get these types of pictures:

We left Santa Fe and headed into Colorado to stay at Wolf Run RV Resort in Pagosa Springs. Wolf Run RV Resort is a Class A place with purchasable lots. What a beautiful place on the San Juan River.

It’s nice getting a bird’s eye view courtesy of Tom’s drone skills!

Unfortunately we were there on the last two days that the resort was open for the year so almost all of the amenities were already closed up. We even had to vacate our spots by 9:00am on the day we left.

Upon the recommendation of the resort owner, Dane, we went to dinner at the City Hall Cafe & Grille in town. What a wonderful meal! I split the Ahi Tuna and Lamb Chops with Laurie Chubb. Both were wonderful!

Dane also told about about a trucker who unfortunately slid off the road up near the Continental Divide. He also stated that the trailer was still wedged on the side of a mountain in a ravine. We drove up to see the views and the trailer:

Unfortunately the truck driver lost his life.

Once we trekked back down the mountain we decided to go soak in the hot water at The Springs Resort & Spa. They had 23 different pools at various temperatures that we tried a few:

Each pool was named and was set at different temperatures. We tried out a number of them:

The pools were situated right next to the river and there were “geysers” formed due to the hot natural springs:

After getting back to the coaches and hitting the showers, we ventured out to Colorado Roadhouse to grab a burger and a beer. Excellent burgers, although the one that Katrina and I split was a bit over cooked.

We headed home because we had to get up early the next morning in order to comply with the 9:00am departure time. I can tell you that closing up the Busse Bus early in the morning with 28 degree weather isn’t fun! We need to head to warmer weather! But, before then we had planned on meeting up with more Myakkans in Moab. Off we went!
