Rivière-Du-Loup

Leaving Quebec City was a little depressing as we really enjoyed that city.  We continued our drive up along the St. Lawrence River on the Canadien side and stopped in Rivière-Du-Loup staying at Camping Du Quai.  Nice campground along the river and right across the street was the Christmas Shop: Read more…

Quebec City

After dropping off AriAnders we drove up to the Quebec City KOA in Levis, which is across the bridge from Quebec City proper.  After getting set up we decided to chill a bit before heading out to dinner.  We found a restaurant just down the street in Levis called Read more…

Montreal

We left Kingston early so that we could get up and settled in Montreal as AriAnders was flying in to stay with us for a few days.  Her flight was supposed to land at 9:30am but due to a medical emergency her plane was diverted to Toronto and she had to Read more…

Kingston

Let me start out by saying that I had never heard of Kingston before Katrina booked us to stay there.  Therefore, my expectations where very low and I was ignorant.  Kingston exceeded my expectations.  We stayed at the 1000 Islands – Kingston KOA Holiday: A very nice campground – what Read more…

Walmart – Sudbury

We have heard other glampers talk about staying overnight in a Walmart parking lot for free to save on a campsite.  It’s a great way to spend a night between two destinations.  We tried it at the Sudbury Walmart.  What an exciting adventure, not!  Parking lots have overhead lights that Read more…

Sault St. Marie

We left the UP (Upper Peninsula of Michigan) and headed to Sault St. Marie on the Canadian side of the St. Mary’s River.  It was interesting seeing the locks from the bridge: During our travels we have heard horror stories from fellow RVers regarding crossing the border into Canada.  Our Read more…

Mackinac

Stayed up in Northern Michigan.  Didn’t smoke funny things, didn’t drink whiskey from the bottle, didn’t stay there all summer long (a little Kid Rock) either.  We did however, stay at KOA (under re-development) in St. Ignace, MI.  We got to catch the cubbies playing on the outside tele!
