Stayed at the Norman Lakes RV Resort.

Definitely not a motorcoach resort, as advertised.  However, it could have been a fun place to stay during season and renting a boat to check out the lake.  The resort was right on the water!  But, it was difficult getting into as our RV GPS told us that it was on the right, but it was actually on the left.  I almost didn’t make the turn.  Once I got the turn done, we had to stop pointing downhill to unhook the truck.  Not an easy task.

That was not a great place to hunker down at because there was absolutely nothing to do.  Small dog park, no sidewalks, not big enough to really walk around in to get exercise.

Saw this sign on the drive up:

So, the question is: Are we staying at home whilst we drive around?  Ponder that one!

One good thing about Staying at Home, is that we had the opportunity to give the Busse Bus a great spring cleaning.

You can tell it’s spring when you see this happening:

Flowers abloom!

Washed the truck.  Washed and waxed the roof of the coach:

What a clean roof!

It was also an excellent way to social distance!  No one else up on the roof and no one dared to join me!

With the roof cleaned and polished, we then tackled the floor (top and bottom):

Besides cleaning, we also found ways to keep us occupied – like taking Bear on a hike on Forney Creek:

Bear loved being off the leash and running around.  Look at this tree:

There were a number of them that looked this way.  Noticing vines on a lot of the other trees I can only assume that there used to be one on these trees that left these impressions on them as they grew.  Other thoughts?

Another thing that we did was the only jigsaw puzzle that we had:

Go Bears Go!

Our Bear rolled around on the floor:

And Kat did some dancing:

All in all we are doing fine during this “Stay at Home” order!  Finding things to do to keep us amused.

We needed to leave a little early to get into South Carolina in case we had to stay in one state for a while due to a potential nationwide stay in place.  We have an appointment to have the Busse Bus annual maintenance for the chassis done by Freightliner who is located in Gaffney.
