We left Decatur to head up to the Tighthead Brewey, a Harvest Host site which is close to our daughter Ariana, her husband Matt, and grandson Rylan. We were supposed to eat an early dinner and then participate in a benefit walk in downtown Libertyville. The Anderson family wasn’t feeling great so we scrapped those plans. Katrina ended up going over to their house and brought them wings from Franks for the Memories (excellent wings!). She needed to get her baby fix.

I went onto the brewery and had a draft of their lightest brew. There was a pizza truck where I had a BBQ chicken pizza which was so-so. Their truck was fantastic:

You can barely see the copper pizza oven towards on the right side.

On Katrina’s drive back to the Busse Bus she texted some friends of ours, Scott and Linda Black, from Mundelein. Scott and I have known each other for 57-58 years as we attended K-12 together.

We had a wonderful conversation and a few beers:

The following day we went over to the Anderson’s to help Matt out while Ariana was at work. While Katrina watched Rylan,

Matt and I tended to their yard for a spring clean up. Once we finished we treated ourselves to an Italian beef from Portillo’s. Absolutely YUMMY!

From there Katrina and I moved the coach to our more permanent location at Camp Reinburg.
