We drove south out of Voyageurs for about five hours until we reached Eau Claire, WI to stay at a Harvest Hosts location called The Coffee Grounds.

The place was really nice inside where you could get a cup of coffee, a beer, and / or food and peruse the merchandise or sit and relax:

The place had coffee, wines, beers, cooking knickknacks and specialty foods. We went inside to have a quick bite to eat. While inside I realized (thanks to Pam, my cousin) that we were due in court in downtown Chicago on Wednesday and not Thursday as I thought. We had to changed some plans around in order to make it! I quickly got my hair cut because I needed to look somewhat professional and not like a retired bum. Sorry Brad, I’m no longer part of the LHHF club!
