We left the Jarochs and drove down to Milwaukee to attend my nephew’s wedding. Katrina found us parking close to downtown at the Wisconsin State Fair Park. More of a parking lot than a park, but you decide for yourself:

No pool, no clubhouse, limited grass areas for Bear. Lots of blacktop! We talked for a while to the younger couple next to us and found out that they just started full timing following jobs for the traveling nurse. Three month stint here in Milwaukee.

We stayed up way too late finishing watching the latest installment of Stranger Things. Bad idea!

The next morning we slept in as long as possible before getting all dressed up to attend the wedding of my nephew, Brad and his fiance, Casey. It felt funny donning a suit and tie again after so many years of shorts, t-shirts and sandals! Brad is the son of my sister Janis and her husband Steve.

The venue was a place called Turner Hall which was a beautiful space complete with a bar, stage and dining hall / dance floor. The floor was original wood and the walls were untouched paint.

Turner Hall. Mr. & Mrs. Schroeder arrive.

The ceremony was quick and direct:

They both said ”I do”.

After a buffet style dinner the seven piece orchestra started with three people singing. The band was outstanding! Here’s there first dance together as man and wife:

I love you today and always!

Others joining in:

Check out the band!

Katrina and me at our table:

We are having a grand time!

More dancing:

Getting the garter:

Brad!

Katrina and I with the newlyweds:

Congratulations!

Due to our travels, this was the first time we got to meet Casey. What a wonderful women! Brad is a lucky man!

We headed back to the Busse Bus and left in the morning to our next destination.

Congratulations Brad and Casey!!!!!

State Fair Park is where they have the state fair, but I don’t know why they call it a park :)))

You could have gone to Summerfest while you were here :)) We had tickets for Santana/Earth Wind and Fire, but it got cancelled because Carlos collapsed a few days earlier. I hope he’s ok!!

Looks like a beautiful wedding and you guys look great!

Hey Sheila! I agree with the park, more of a parking lot for RVs. We thought about going to Summerfest but didn’t have enough time. We had a wonderful time at the wedding!
