We enjoy attending AIM (All Inclusive Motorcoach) Rallies because the organization goes above and beyond your expectations. We decided to leave the Myakka River Motorcoach Resort to travel up to Auburndale, FL to attend one such rally. When I Googled the location it was this:
Lake Ariana!
Our friends, David and KeithAnn Woods were also in attendance which made the experience so much more exciting. We hadn’t seen them in quite a while so it was great to catch up with them. It’s also great to see Angie Morell from National Indoors RV Centers (NIRVC) who is a major sponsor of AIM. Here’s Katrina and Angie:
Club Margaritaville recently purchased the property from the Cabana Club Resort and was getting ready for the official kick-off the following weekend.
Notice the pock marks from the previous sign. The place is beautiful with a huge swimming pool and activity center.
We did not attend most of the informative talks as we had attended them at past rallies. We did however enjoy the food and the entertainment. Here’s Katrina as she was pulled up on stage:
The Rally was fun and I’m glad that we attended it, but I don’t think that we would go to this one again. The reason is the rally was scheduled right before the Tampa RV Show where AIM has a huge rally during the event. This one seemed like a precursor for people who travel across the country for the RV Show. It was great however to see the Woods and rekindle that relationship.
