We drove almost 400 miles from Amarillo to Green Mountain Falls just west of Colorado Springs. We stayed at the Rocky Top Motel and Campground.

It was a beautiful location in the mountains, but the campsites left some to be desired. Here’s the Busse Bus settled in:

We had enough time to take Bear out and shower before we headed back down to Colorado Springs for dinner and to meet up with Katrina’s Aunt Deb, her husband Butch, her son Drew and his wife Renee, and their two daughters, Keelin and Emmy. We met at a brewery called Cerberus.

I tried a couple of different ones. I thought that they were pretty good!

We had a nice time catching up with them.

Deb and Butch recently moved out to Colorado a few months ago from Indiana. We were able to see their new place via videos. Their place looked beautiful! Best of luck with settling into Colorado!
