We left the wonderful AIM Rally and started to head to Florida for the season. Since we couldn’t drive the entire way at one go – at least we don’t like to drive for days on end. We made it just outside of Shreveport, LA and stayed at the Horseshoe Casino in Bossier City. Tired from the drive, we didn’t even go inside to try our hand at Lady Luck. We just hunkered down for the evening in the parking lot.
Our destination before Florida was to stop at the NIRVC outside of Atlanta as Katrina wanted to talk to the sales manager regarding a potential job of selling coaches on the road. Apparently, Brett Davis, the CEO of NIRVC really thinks that Katrina has the skills needed to be very successful at selling coaches.
Therefore, our plans changed a bit with an added stop in the Atlanta area.
Up and out the next morning and we were on our way.
