I’m not going to go into too much detail as this trip was not part of our RV adventure, just part of our lives together. I did include some highlights as well as pictures of the vacation.

It was a great flight as Katrina had booked us in first class with frequent flyers miles. It makes traveling so much easier. Jackson Hole is a beautiful place!

Flying in seeing the Tetons against the fields was magnificent!

We got the rental and headed to the timeshare called the Teton Club. Beautiful place, particularly in early winter with the snow hanging in the fir trees.

Check out the view from our window:

The kids were traveling in the next day so Katrina and I had the place to ourselves. We found a place to get tested for COVID-19 and we were negative. Katrina and I found a local place for a bite to eat called Il Villaggio Osteria for a pizza. Not too many places opened yet because of the virus and the ski mountain didn’t open until Thanksgiving.

The next day I ran down to the airport to pick up the kids. So great having all three of them together with us for the week. For dinner we headed into downtown Jackson and ate at the Silver Dollar Bar and Grill.

We pre-ordered Thanksgiving dinner from a local grocery store and determined that it was delicious! There is nothing like going on a hike and then coming back for a wonderful meal.

On Thanksgiving we were able to ski as the mountain opened. They had limited runs open due to the earlier season, but not having skied in years, I really didn’t mind. Talk about sore shins!

The kids were able to get another day of skiing in, while Kat and I relaxed and soaked our sore bodies in the hot tub. The kids were able to join us as well:

Since we weren’t going to be together for Christmas this year, we were able to celebrate the holiday over Thanksgiving. For our annual Christmas pj’s, Katrina ordered everyone scrubs – it seemed appropriate for 2020:

Had to bring small gifts as we all were traveling by plane. After a few more days of hiking, meals, jigsaw puzzles and Hallmark movies we parted ways.

So nice being able to get together during these trying times. Great seeing all of them!
