We pulled into Blackwell Island RV Resort right outside of the city of Coeur d’Alene in Idaho. We had spent one night in Idaho over two years ago outside of the West Entrance of Yellowstone and therefore put the state on the map. I feel better now with more nights under our belt to truly put the state up.

Blackwell Island RV Resort was a nice place right on the water where Bear could get in the water. We didn’t get to park next to the Brown’s, but we were two sites away from each other. After the Godfrey’s dropped off their son, Garrett, at the Spokane Airport they picked up Sheila’s dad, Ed. Ed was going to travel with them for the next week or so.

Katrina made reservations at Beverly’s in a downtown hotel overlooking their harbor.

Wonderful sights and excellent food!

I had the filet which they poured a fiery peppercorn sauce on top of it to finish it off. Fun and delicious.

The following day we rented a pontoon boat and toured the beautiful lake.

Check out these houses that dotted the shores:

This one was John Elway’s:

We stopped for lunch at Shooter’s. Good pub grub! On the trip back we motored over to the Coeur d’Alene Resort Golf Course to see the 14th which boasts the world’s only Floating Green. The golfer needs to take a little boat over to the green to putt. Talk about difficult! Not for me.

Katrina saw on Facebook a Motorcoach Resort nearby and we made some itinerary changes so that we could fit the stop into our schedule. Therefore, we were off the next morning for a big 26 mile drive up north to stay at Stoneridge Motorcoach Resort in Blanchard.
