The people of Iowa love us!  They are so welcoming!

After traveling down a four mile dusty gravel road we finally arrived at the Doe’s and Diva’s Dairy near Honey Creek, IA.  We were interested in staying with them because their dairy had sheep and goat cheese.

Since we got meat at the previous Harvest Host we needed cheese to go with it!  Thinking that we would be able to make the most excellent charcuterie board!  Doe’s and Diva’s is a new Harvest Host affiliate and stated that they could accommodate a 45’ coach.  They couldn’t!  It would have been extremely tight to get the Busse Bus down their driveway without hitting branches.

Do you blame me?  Would you take your rig though there?

Katrina found us another campground nearby in Missouri Valley called City Park.  Great park!  Only cost us $15 for the night.  Cheapest place that we have ever paid for.  Since we had so much dirt/duct on the Busse Bus we had to wash it:

After all of Katrina’s hard work, we had both vehicles clean and ready to roll.

We found a little place to have dessert:

The Dairy Den!  Nice treat after all that washing.

With the Iowa sticker up on the map, it’s time to move on to Nebraska.
