We left Golden Palms with the Woods and headed up to the Tampa Fairgrounds to attend the Tampa RV Show.  This is the largest RV show in the country.  We parked with the Newmar group for a rally.  We were able to park right next to the Woods and we alternated our rigs that created a private space between us.

This show is HUGE!

RV’s and accessories every where you look.  One could really spend some dough here.  I’ll have to go through with Kat and be the game warden!

It was nice staying with the Newmar group as we were able to have the technicians look at a couple of minor issues that we had.  Our technician, Rory, who we met in Nappanee was there and he looked at our full wall slide.  We have cracked a few tiles and know that there is something wrong.  Rory looked at it and told us that we did not have the “Superstructure” that they started to put in the coaches after we bought ours.  We made an appointment in Nappanee as soon as we could to get it repaired – June was the earliest that we could get.  We booked it!

We went up to Ybor City to eat dinner at the Columbia Restaurant

with the Woods.  We got there in time to catch the Flamenco show:

It was fun watching the dancers.  This was the original Columbia, the one that we visited in Sarasota was secondary.  I ordered the paella which was delicious!

We also got to met and join some other groups.  The “Hoots” which is a subset of Newmar and meets in rallies throughout the country.  We will need to try to get registrated for one of their meetings.  The other one was AIM – All Inclusive Motorcoach.  Looks like a fun bunch.  We actually took in a night of their hospitality while we were there – BBQ dinner, beer and a band.

We will need to plan on attending one of their rallies in the future as well.

Well, I was successful and we did not buy a new coach!  We did however get this:

Didn’t the artist do a good job in portraying Bear?

After a few days we were done with the show and continued on our search for a RV Lot.

Congrats on the land purchase! And love the wood sign! We have those from Scott’s parents camping days!
