We decided to spend Christmas in  Palm Springs because we had to use a week of timeshare due to our place in St. Martin still not ready for use after the hurricane hit the island a couple of years ago.  Stayed at the Palm Canyon Resort by Diamond Resorts.  A bit cold, but we were still able to use the pool.

In the lobby, they had a gingerbread house competition between the departments – very cute!

We had to make do in turning the condo into a Christmas paradise:

I guess the stockings were hung by the bar with care.

We were able to complete a couple of jigsaw puzzles – which is a great way to talk with your kids whilst doing something fun.

“Santa” bought us our pajamas:

We were able to get some hiking in:

Very interesting landscape.  Check this out!

For dinner one night we took the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway up to the top of San Jacinto:

It was great seeing snow!  I didn’t remember how cold it is….brrr!

Unfortunately Matt had to get back for work so he had to leave us a day early.

The Busse’s were within two hours of a Disney Park, we had to go.  Disneyland:

Long day, but fun!

We were up and out the next day to head back to our respective homes…

Fantastic week!  Great getting together with our kids and enjoying each other.  FAMILY.
