On the drive down to Gettysburg, we stopped at Hersey’s Chocolate World to get some Halloween candy – right!  It’s hard to put into words how cool this place is.  Huge chocolate and displays:

I kinda got the impression that this place could be called Chocolate Disney World.  If you know me, that really means something!  There were tours and a movie of which we didn’t participate.  However, we did the Create Your Own Chocolate Bar!

We had to don bunny suits:

All dressed up and ready to create our own bars.  First you pick the base chocolate – I chose white chocolate, then you add in up to three ingredients – I chose crispy rice, chocolate cookie bits and Heath toffee bits.  Next they pour milk chocolate over your bar and send it through a cooling process that takes about six minutes (an eternity, I might add).

Presto, you’ve made a yummy chocolate candy bar.  But, you’re not finished yet.  Next you design your wrapper.  This was mine:

We also made purchases of exquisite a muffin and a cookie.  Then we also purchased some Halloween candy – hope it lasts that long in the Busse Bus.

We made some new friends:

Great stop!  Thanks Kat for talking me into it!  Loved it!
