With our new furniture installed, we headed up to the Bass Lake Resort in Parish, NY. Bass Lake Resort offers two pools, almost 300 acres, restaurant, bar, a large dog park and loads of sporting activities and it is affiliated with six other privately held campgrounds located in the Eastern United States. We kinda thought that the place was dated and needed some refurbishment.
This resort offers “timeshare” lot ownership and we stayed for free if we listened to the spiel. Membership also includes access to the 350 other campgrounds in the Coast to Coast program (a Good Sam’s affiliation). We did listen to the spiel, but didn’t buy into the program. We did get our two nights for free, a $50 gift card, 21 additional nights free at any of the affiliated campgrounds, and firewood and s’mores for one evening.
It was nice to get a couple of free nights and relax for a couple of days. We figured that the next few weeks were going to be busy because we planned on attending the Newmar FullTimer’s Chapter Rally and then straight to the Newmar International Rally.
