Drove over from Bar Harbor to see the White Mountains in New Hampshire. We stayed at Twin Tamarack Family Camping & RV Resort.
The following day we Hiked in the White Mountains with Alanna and Chuck Hansen whom we met in Panama City Beach, FL.
We decided to try the Welch – Dickey hiking trail.
Alanna wasn’t sure that she wanted to tackle this hike, but in the end I think that she really enjoyed it! Overall, we had lots of laughs and yes the hike was more difficult than we expected especially since we did it backwards!
We stopped for dinner at JL Sullivan’s Irish Pub. It was great spending time again with Alanna and Chuck!
Ordered corned Beef and cabbage which was outstanding!
Back at the Busse Bus we had a nice relaxing evening with a campfire!
Off to bed as tomorrow we are heading to Vermont. Rain in the forecast.
