We made our way from Key Largo up and around Miami and pulled into the Juno Beach RV Resort.  A very nice resort with a lot of snow birds camping out for the winter.  Since it was now getting closer to better weather up north, the place had a few vacancies.  The spot next to us was occupied with this tenant:

What can I say?  Beautiful!!!

The best part about this resort was that it was located about 1/2 mile from the ocean and a beach dog park.

Bear is too frigging smart.  At first he would dive into the waves to retrieve his floaty toy, but he soon learned that if he waited patiently, the waves would bring his toy to him.  It was more fun to watch him get capsized by a wave I have to tell you.  Oh well, we picked the Australian Shepherd because of their smarts.

For dinner we met up with friends of ours from Mundelein who have purchased property in Palm Beach, Barry and Rhody Hausauer.  We went to their new condo for drinks and realized that their views are fantastic:

They drove us to one of their favorites restaurants, PB Catch.  During the drive we passed many fabulous houses including Trump’s Mar-a-Lago.  Talk about rich digs….

The next day we explored the area and the beautiful sights:

The next day started with another trip to the dog beach.  That Bear is sure fun to watch play in the waves, chasing birds, and playing with other dogs.

Next we were off to see Marcella Romoser-Scherer and her husband, Mark at their place in Jupiter.  Marcella is another gal from BeautiControl and Kat has known her for many years!

They live in a gated golf community right on the Intercostal waterway.  We had a very nice lunch at their club and then they showed us around the place.  Absolutely beautiful! They have a stunning house located on the Intercostal with great views!  We even got to play in Mark’s man cave with his pinball machines.  Reminded us of our house back in Green Oaks.

The Jupiter area is gorgeous and Marcella showed us around a bit before heading to the Busse Bus for a little closet re-organization.

After BeautiControl, Marcella became a wardrobe consultant where she helps lucky ladies (and men, I suppose) select clothing that best suits them and helps them organize their closet space so that everything is easily accessible.  I’m sure there is a much better title that Marcella goes by other than wardrobe consultant – something very fancy I’m sure!  She even helped Kat with our tiny closet spaces!

We were off for drinks at “The Breakers” a fabulous old and pompous hotel on the beach.  We sat in the bar that was constructed to be an aquarium.  It’s pretty fantastic to sip and drink and watch the fish swimming under your glass.

After having an expensive drink, we headed over to the Buccan restaurant to meet up with the Hausauer’s for a lovely dinner.

For our final day in the Palm Beach area, we did more of the same with visiting the beach, exploring other areas like the very posh Esplanade, and then dinner with the Hausauer’s and Marcella at the Palm Beach Grill – Rhody’s favorite that takes months to get a reservation – thanks Rhody!

The restaurant was wonderful and the food divine:

I, of course, had to try the dessert:

It tasted as good as it looked!

Before we left, Rhody stopped by the Busse Bus to see how we were living.  While she was there:

We left Palm Beach and headed towards our new home….
