I was pleasantly surprised when we pulled into the Sac-West RV Park that it was as nice as it was.  You see, I was going to spend the next two weeks there and mostly by myself.  Kat flew back to Chicago to attend Kate and Gene’s wedding in Evansville and then to go wedding dress shopping with Ari the next weekend.

Congratulations Kate and Gene!

Ari narrowed her search down to two dresses (better than 27).  We will have to wait and see what beautiful dress she chooses.  Kat also ran around to all her Sweat X customers delivering product.  On the flight back to Chicago, Kat struck up a conversation with the guy in the seat next to her and he was in charge of player development for the Cubbies.  She scored great tickets to the game.  Kat’s mom, Rita, came into town to help on the quest for the perfect dress as well.  All had a great time!

Meanwhile, back at the park I was busy taking care of the Busse Bus, our bikes, and the dogs.  The park started and finished decorating for Halloween.  Place looks very good.

The girl on the swing is very creepy!  She sings, moves her head to and fro, and swings!  I think that Stephen King was here.

Actually, the park is quite nice and has a pen with goats, a pig and chickens run freely.  Bear loves them!

The park also has a nice dog area where Bear met a nice girl doggie.  I think he’s in love:

Some photos of the park for you to enjoy:

As you can see, the park is very nice.  However, you can’t pick your neighbors:

Reminded me of cousin Eddie from “Vacation”.  I guess the farewell party that our Mundelein friends threw for us was spot on.

The best time during my stint at SacWest was when cousin Julie came to visit me.  It took her five hours to drive over from the San Francisco Bay Area.  It should have taken about two.  We didn’t have any hard plans only ideas of what to do and where to go.  Ended up having a great time doing really nothing.  We took a drive and ended up near the Folsom Prison – yep, you’re right that Folsom Prison.

We didn’t hear the train a comin’ and we didn’t have the blues, but we did have a great time!

It was wonderful to have Kat return so that we could continue on our journey (and also take care of the doggies!).
