We wanted to explore Seattle and take in all the sights.  Not likely unless we were there for a lot longer than the three days.  We did, however, get to see these:

Pike Place market which houses seafood, vegetable, fruit, flower and craft shops.  The sights and smells are different each time to turnaround.

The gum walls.  Disgusting!

Waterfront Park.  Kat and I went into “Wings Over Washington”, a Disney-ish type ride that shows you the state of Washington – think “Soaring”.

Had to stop at the original Starbucks and buy a coffee mug.  We waited until it was late and they were near closing because the line to see it was too long all day.  I mean, really, do you want to wait an hour to go in?

Drove by the Seattle Space Needle on the way back to the Busse Bus.  Beautiful structure particularly at night.  Impressive!

Moved down to Olympia and the Outback RV Park to make sure that we were around the cities in plenty of time to head down to visit Katrina’s brother, Darin and his wife, Lisa, in Oregon.  Thought we would be able to see Mount Rainier, but unfortunately it was too overcast and we missed it.  Perhaps next time we are in the area.
