After a late night at the Calgary Stampede we got a very late start and had to drive up to Edmonton for the night.  Pulled into the beautiful, Good Sam approved, campground called the Kinsmen RV Park in St. Alberts just northwest of Edmonton.  The site was so nice that we decided to chill the next day and stayed another night.  Spent the day catching up on paperwork, adjusting the DirecTV (another four hours), getting nails done (only Katrina, not me), and posting.  Although the WiFi isn’t the fastest, I was able to get a few out and at least catch up on creating holding spots for other ones.

Great location with rugby and soccer fields next door and a BMX track right down the way.  Good biking / walking paths for the dogs.  Didn’t get a chance to ride though.

Took the dogs to a dog rink.  Never heard that one before, but here’s a picture:

Looks a lot like an outdoor hockey rink in the summer to me.  Grabbed a quick bite at a local brewery, Thursday night is 3.00 CAD off pizza so I had to try the Donair one.  Pretty good and even better with a taster of their beers:
