When we were in St. Charles, MO (our first stop on this great American adventure) we were at the end of the Missouri River, well Three Forks, Montana is the Missouri Headwaters. So in a sense we have traveled the complete Missouri River – somewhat like Lewis and Clark did back in the 1800’s. We overnighted at Camp Three Forks, an old KOA campground:
A nice older treed RV Park with a pool which we did not use….
We were able to take a late bike ride into the town of Three Folks and heard a musician in the park and were able to visit the Sacajawea monument:
The best part about being in this area was meeting up with Scott and Paige Webb who just purchased a house in Bozeman, MT. Scott and I worked together at Hollister, Inc. and their daughter Eliza is good friends with Keenan. Hi Eliza! Had a great lunch with them in downtown Bozeman and took this pic in front of the Busse Bus.

Spent almost the entire day on Friday at a Freightliner repair service center in Bozeman to get two recalls taken care of. After five hours and one done I was informed that they did not have the part to fix the other recall. Since it wasn’t a critical fix I decided it could wait. At least the service center had WiFi and I got somewhat caught up on my posts – I think I accomplished nine of them throughout the day.
