Beautiful drive up and over the mountains and in the Bighorn National Forest. Snowed / hailed / iced over the pass just before we got there. Cra, cra to have seen snow in July. Nice snaps outside the Busse Bus:
Drove past a town called Thermopolis which has a huge thermal fountain. Unfortunately, the Busse Bus is too big to maneuver into the parking lot to get a closer look. We will have to stop next time we are in the area!
Pulled into the Longhorn Ranch and RV Park. Beautiful park along the river with horse back riding ($75.00 for a two-hour trail ride – we skipped it). We are sure we will find another place to ride so that Katrina can get her fix in.
Great place to camp to travel into the Tetons.
