I guess we are somewhat stuck on KOA’s now as I booked another one in Ft. Collins, CO. I’m sure glad I did, what a beautiful place with all kinds of activities: pool, mini golf, bumper boats, playground, lake, dog walk, and blow ups.
What a great place to stay a while and bring the kids! Not our kids, they’re too old to enjoy all of these activities much like us. I would recommend a family reunion here if you are into camping like Katrina and I now are. I’d love to take that swan boat out for a nice float.
Cute downtown area with touristy shops and restaurants. Katrina and I went to the Whiskey Tavern to get bison. I learned it’s not really called buffalo, but bison (buffalo is the category) – think water. Wait for it – now you got it! Any way, I got a bison top sirloin marinated in local whiskey. Not bad, but I prefer mine with just seasonings. Next time…
