Ok, add this to your bucket list – See a concert at Red Rocks!  What a beautiful, beautiful venue.  Natural amphitheater surrounded by jutting red rocks.  A must see!

Opening for the BNL were KT Tunstall and Better Than Ezra.  Both were extremely good as well.

What a great way to end Shakes and Flounder’s visit with us.  They do plan on coming back to be on the Busse Bus again.

It’s been more that “One Week” since we went to the concert.  Sorry for the slow posts – we were out of connectivity for a while  and very busy at the Newmar Rally.

Red Rocks Park — When I lived in the Denver area, in Lakewood, Red Rocks was an oft-visited site. I was young then, and hiking the hill behind the ampitheater gave you a spectacular view of the Arapahoe basin. Concerts — I saw John Denver there in ’74 accompanied by the Denver Symphony Orchestra — it was heaven (no almost about it!). I also saw Chuck Mangione there — and the weed was heavy in the air, long before it was legal.

Our singles group used to have road rallies, and we would require the drivers to pull into the parking lot and climb to the top of the ampitheater counting the stairs! (Like I said, we were young then!)
