After a very sad goodbye with Wendy and Roger, we started out on our drive back to the Myakka River Motorcoach Resort in Port Charlotte, FL. Since we got a late start we only got as far as North Louisville and stayed at the KOA.

It was a nice stop for the might with a lot of things to do and decorated for Halloween.

Bear enjoyed viewing the lake.

The next morning we continued our journey down south and stayed at the Bass Pro Shop just north of Atlanta, GA.

Up and out early the next morning as we planned at stop at Carroll’s Sausage and Country Store to pick up some meat. We had heard about this place for years and it was nice to stop and see it.

Of course, Bear got his picture taken.

They also tout the worlds largest peanut.

Well, we were in Georgia and it makes some sense!

We continued south with plans on stopping in Ocala, but since we were ahead of schedule we called up Katrina’s Aunt Debbie and Uncle Butch to see if they were available for visitors. They were! They are at Mt. Olive Shores North,

a RV community and they got us a spot for the evening. They even made some dinner for us and we got to try out the jalapeño poppers that we purchased at Carroll’s (so good that we should have gotten many more).

They have a beautiful house with RV parking:

It’s for sale, if anyone is interested!

They next day we moved over to the Kissimmee KOA

for a few nights. Hey, we purchased Disney annual passes and we are going to get our moneys worth!

We got a chance to see Hoobastank at the American Venue at EPCOT:

We went to Animal Kingdom and got to see some animals:

We even found this quaint little adult beverage place!

I can’t believe we never knew it was there after all the times that we have visited over the years! Too bad that it will be demolished when Disney revamps this area.

It was much more relaxing spending time at Disney without having to run around and try to ride and see everything!

We finished the final leg of our trip back to the Myakka River Motorcoach Resort. Home sweet home!
