The drive down to Nappanee from Blue Lake was uneventful. With the coach emptied I’m sure my gas mileage soared!
That evening we had dinner with Janice Bradley, a BeautiControl friend of Katrina’s. We decided to meet half way between us in Syracuse to eat at The Pier & Back Porch located in the Oakwood Resort. It was fun sitting on the pier and catching up with Janice.

I ordered the blackened salmon grilled cheese and it was fabulous! I should have taken a picture to try to recreate it in the future.
After saying good night to Janice, we went back to the coach.

Early the next morning (6 am) our technician Rory (whom we always request) picked up the coach and we went over all the issues.

By about 10:30, Rory told us that he had it covered and that we could head out. Before we left we looked at how far he had gotten with getting the cabinetry ready for another coat of paint:

It does look like the Busse Bus II is in good hands with Rory!
We stopped in Shipshewana, IN on the way back up to Blue Lake. Shipshewana is an Amish community that we had heard about for years. We stopped at a store called Eash to buy some knives. That store had so many things! We could have spent all afternoon there and still not have seen everything. They sell outdoor furniture.

We needed to move on so we continued driving until I saw an outlet mall. I needed some new shoes because we planned on going to Disney World the following week with Ari, Matt and Rylan and I wanted to have some comfortable footwear. After buying three pairs (two for me and one for Katrina) at Skechers I spied a Great Clips and ran in to get my hair cut. After the stop, we were ready for Disney!
We got back up to Blue Lake and planned on being there for a few days before flying to Florida.
