We left the Iowa State Fair and headed west to our townhouse in Winter Park, CO. Too far to drive in one day so we opted for a Harvest Host in North Platte, NE called Pals Brewery.

We had stayed there years ago and told Ari and Matt to stop on their drive out to Colorado. It’s a great stop on your way out west. Easy in and out and it’s not too far from the expressway. Best of all, it offers good craft beers and pizza. We ordered the Wisconsin pizza – basically a brat on dough.

It even comes with sauerkraut! Very good!
Bear enjoyed this stop as he got to play in the grass and sit we us as we had a drink outside.

As the sun set over Pals Brewery

and the Busse Bus II

we said goodnight. Off tomorrow morning to continue the drive.
