We left Blue Lake and caravaned with Roger and Wendy heading west to the Iowa State Fair. We needed to stop on the way so we decided on a Harvest Host called the Rhythm City Casino Resort in Davenport, IA. Welcome to Iowa!
They had a huge parking lot where we had the opportunity to park next to each other.
As I was taking the picture Roger took the time to say “hello”.
After we got set up we headed inside to check out the gaming machines/tables and to grab a bite to eat. After losing on the blackjack table and at the slot machines we went into the sports bar for dinner. We then made the sound financial decision to not go back into the casino and head back to the coaches. We were all bit tired from the long day of driving and wanted to be well rested to what we were anticipating to be a very hectic visit at the Iowa State Fair.
