Harvest Host: Slash X Cafe

We left the beauty of Paso Robles and headed east stopping at a Harvest Host called Slash X Cafe outside of Barstow, CA. The place sits in the Mojave Desert and it sure was hot! The cafe looked cute but was unopened as the owners were on vacation – probably trying to beat the heat! Check out this spot:

I wouldn’t recommend this stop in late summer when the temperature soars. Although, if the cafe was open it looked like it could be a fun place to be.
