After the night in the Wally World parking lot we headed down to Silver Creek, WA and stayed at the Harmony Lakeside RV Park. We picked this location because it was situated about halfway between Mount St. Helens and Mount Reiner and we thought that we could do some hiking and see the sights. Here are some pictures from the campground:
Sometimes the best laid plans go awry. The weather was overcast so we couldn’t see either peak so we decided to drive into Reiner to see some falls. Unfortunately we did realize that you needed an assigned time to enter the National Park. We didn’t know that these new rules that were started after Covid included this park. Oh well, we had a few things to get done around the coach. Katrina found a local hike to the Sulphur Creek Falls where we could take Bear along:
Bear was in heaven! The hike was a lot more strenuous than advertised and the falls were beautiful.
On the drive back we got a picture of one of the many Christmas Tree farms:

Early back to the coach to get ready to travel early the next morning as we have about a four hour drive to Pacific Surf Motorcoach Resort where we were meeting up with Barry and Rhody Hausauer. Tune in for the write up on this place!
