We left the Homer area and headed north through Anchorage with our destination of Palmer, AK. We stopped in Anchorage to resupply at Costco and Petco. It’s always fun driving the Busse Bus with the truck in tow through parking lots. We also saw another moose along the way:
In Palmer
we stayed at the Springer RV and Campground.
Very nice newer place.
There was a beautiful farm across the street with the mountains as a backdrop:
We “ran” to the Palmer Alehouse for dinner. When we got there we realized that the entire town must have just run the 5k race that ended at the Alehouse. The place was packed! Food and drinks were good.
