Another long drive day out of South Dakota, touching the tip of Wyoming and then traversing north through Montana. Our evening stop was at the Cottonwood Inn & Suites which also had a campground nestled in behind the structures. Great place for the night with full hook ups!

We met up with Jeff and Molli Wills our neighbors across the street from us at the Myakka River Motorcoach Resort. About six months ago we decided to tag along with them as they had planned on going to Alaska this summer. Since Katrina and I had went in 2018 and loved the state so much we wanted to return. Molli is a whiz at planning trips so we were so glad to be traveling with them.

This was our site for the night:

It was great being able to stay connected for the evening!

Once we both got set up we headed into the town to stop at the Busted Knuckle Taproom to have a birthday beer as it was my 63rd!

Since the place was a converted garage, all of the drinks had themed names. I selected the “hot rod”, a jalapeño beer. It was good! Cheers to me!

We also got our first (of many I’m sure) picture of the four of us together – this time baring our knuckles for the brewery’s namesake:

The next morning we got an early start because we had another long drive and had to cross the border into Canada.
