Once upon a time….

The reason we headed to Walt Disney World was to witness the wedding of Katrina’s niece, Cailin to Josh Meyers. But of course we added in extra days to take full advantage of being on site and having the entire family with us. I’ll talk about Disney in another post because I wanted to dedicate this posting to the wedding. Cailin, with her sister Ashton and their parents, Bret (Katrina’s brother) and Tracey Jerger are bigger Disney fanatics than we are and ever since their girls were young they dreamed about a “Disney fairy tale” wedding.

It doesn’t get any more Disney than this:

Private early entrance into the Magic Kingdom to take pictures. Stunning!

The ceremony was conducted in the Disney’s Wedding Pavilion near the Grand Floridian on the Seven Seas Lagoon. What a beautiful setting:

You can even see Cinderella’s castle out through the window! Besides the “I do’s”, a highlight of the ceremony was when the best man “forgot” the rings and a royal dignitary brought the rings in:

After the ceremony, we moved over to the Grand Floridian Convention Center for a wonderful meal and dancing as only Disney could do it. Look at these Disney added wedding touches:

So fairy tale like, check out the cake:

I mean really, look at the top of the cake. Here’s the happy couple coming into the hall:

Some random pictures from the reception:

What a magical wedding!

Here are some immediate family pictures:

Fun picture of some of Rita Jerger’s descendants:

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful ceremony and reception. It was great seeing the family and celebrating together. It truly was magical!

Congratulations Cailin and Josh!

And they lived “Happily Ever After”….
