We left Ocala and drove about an hour southwest to San Antonio, FL to go to Marathon Coaches.
We had seen some beautiful flooring last year when Kim Mulder brought his new Marathon Coach to Moab, Utah. Since our carpeting around the driving cabin was wearing out, Katrina wanted to replace it with a similar material that Kim had so she scheduled an appointment with them. What a nice parking facility when you are awaiting work to be completed on your coach! We did feel a little bit like trailer trash sitting next to these beautiful million dollar coaches. They had a used one from 2014 that we looked at but it was still around $1.0M. Way too rich for our blood!
While we were waiting we decided to run down to Madeira Beach to see Katrina’s brother Derek and his family as they had moved into a new house. What a great house they found! However, with all of catching up the only picture we got was playing with their son Cole.
While we were gone, the Marathon workers measured, cut and installed our new weaved mat.
We think the finished work is outstanding!
We are so happy with the result! As an extra bonus, this flooring can be vacuumed very easily.
With the work being completed we headed off to our next destination, Walt Disney World!
