We have been adding a stop on our annual travels in Gaffney, NC at the Freightliner Factory Service Center for all the maintenance needed to keep the Busse Bus running. This year was for the 48 month or 60,000 miles which we are near both. I can’t believe that we have traveled that many miles and for that length or time. We also have the maintenance completed on our generator. A little bit of trivia: it takes 24 quarts of oil to fill the Busse Bus up. I’m not sure if there are more items on the 48 month maintenance schedule or not, but the costs were up. $1,454.10 this go around. Perhaps COVID or supply chain woes or lack of employees were also to blame. Not sure. All I know is that it is getting more expensive in 2022 to run the ole Busse Bus.
