Our final stop in Colorado was at the Grande River Winery which is part of the Harvest Host association. I never knew that Colorado had a wine country, but they do. There were a lot of wineries in the area.
Grande River Winery is really good, not the sweet wine that you might expect made from fruit, but very nice reds!
If you are interested, the Grande River Winery is for sale.
We grabbed a bottle of red and headed to the food truck called Underdog Cheese. Ordered the ham and cheese sandwich and the charcuterie board. What an outstanding sandwich! Ate lunch on a picnic table nearby in the shade and I felt like we were being watched the entire time:
Apparently we were!
The parking lot was not very flat so we waited until everyone left for the day and then moved the Busse Bus into the middle of the lot and got as level as we could before deploring the jacks. Had to get up early to clear the path for their employees and customers.
That meant that we would arrive in Utah a little bit earlier than planned.
