The Pulling out of Nappanee and getting back to traveling, I was like a little kid – giddy! I really missed being “on the road”!
Before we could actually be on our way, we needed to stop in the Chicago area to pick up Bear from Ari and Matt’s. We were able to see their new rental townhome in Vernon Hills. Cute place and great location! Close to nice restaurants, in fact we ordered Uncle Julio’s and took it back to their place. Quick visit – didn’t even take a picture as we had just seen them the week before.

We stayed at Camp Reinburg again – the same place that we stayed at during Matt and Ari’s wedding last year. Not much to report on there except that the bathrooms were closed due to Illinois restrictions regarding COVID.
The next day on the way into Wisconsin, we got rerouted due to construction and ended up near our friends lake house in Whitewater. Gave them a call and they meet us on the side of the road for a quick hour catchup. Great seeing Rob and Kristin Joy!
