When the Busse’s are crossing Florida on our way back up north – we have to stop at Walt Disney World.  We’ve heard that Disney has closed their Asian parks due to the Corona virus.  It originated in China, so that makes sense.  Something like the flu and spreading fast!  We came prepared:

Popcorn bucket for $2 refills and Purell!

The night that we arrived we headed to Animal Kingdom for dinner at a new to us place called Tiffins.

The food was excellent!  Recommend this place.

Afterwards we caught the nighttime show there called “River of Light”:

It was really cool to see Animal Kingdom at night:

I particularly like capturing Everest with the moon.

The following day we headed to Disney Hollywood Studios.  Of course, we tried to get boarding passes for The Rise of the Resistance (RotR).  Got them!  Group 13 this time.

Definitely will make it on today!  Yay!  While waiting for our group to get called, we got to ride the latest attraction at Disney Hollywood Studios – Mickey’s Runaway Railway.  Fun attraction – first one ever to be themed on Mickey himself!

Notice the hidden Mickey in the light?  While we were waiting in line they had an issue so we had to sit and wait it out.  Time was ticking as our RotR group was called.  Dilemma!  Should we stay or should we go?  An attendant on the ride told us that they would honor our time on the RotR attraction later in the day.  So, we stayed and got on the ride about 20 minutes later.  Good ride, especially for Disney die yards!  This attraction opened March 4th and we were on it on March 9th.

We went over to RotR and got to get on even through our time had passed.  Love Disney!  We hit some other attractions that we haven’t had a chance to yet, like: Oga’s Cantina in Galaxy Edge – a bar with a flair – loads of fun with very different drinks and snacks.

Also, saw the show based on Cars.

Cute for kids – and even big kids like us.

Headed over to EPCOT

for the Garden and Flower Festival

and got to eat at the Kiosks around the world.  Mostly tapas like food paired with wine or beer from that region.

Stopped for a beer at the Scandinavian kiosk, but after reading the menu I decided not to have the Pilsner:

We ran into some of our Disney friends:

Chip and Dale are so cute!  Do you know how to tell the difference between to two?  Chip has the darker nose – think chocolate chips!

Some other pictures:

We didn’t make it to the new Smokehouse at the American pavilion – something to look forward to next time.

We sure seem to be getting our moneys worth from our Florida resident annual passes.
