Tok (pronounced toke), Alaska is a crossover stop for the unofficial “loop”. This loop connects Tok with Fairbanks with Anchorage and on back to Tok. We would follow the loop over the next few weeks.
We were excited to get back into a town, we were wrong. Tok is more of a stopover location. We stayed at the Tok RV Village and had planned on a three day stent and then decided to leave a day early to head up to Fairbanks and civilization.
The park had some type of pine tree that shedded a sap that got caught in the dog’s fur, especially on their feet. Nasty.
Off to Fairbanks.
