So the “wall” between Canada’s Yukon Territory and Alaska is a 20 feet cleared line of trees that extends for miles.  I’m not sure how we keep all of those undesirable Canadians out of Alaska, but it seems to work.  Here are some pictures:

Immigration was a few miles down the road and entering back into the United States was fairly easy.  I only got tripped up on one question:  Did we buy anything in Canada?  I said no and when the agent went back into the building Katrina reminded me that we bought some socks.  The agent returned and I fessed up.  He laughed.  I didn’t have to surrender our booty, nor pay a fine, nor go to jail.  Good thing!

Home sweet home – back in the US!
