Colorado State Park Chief Hosa was a very tight fit for the Busse Bus. I had to back in uphill on gravel. Kept spinning out but finally made it. It was uneven so both front tires were off the ground and we had to buy a cheater step in order to board.
Katrina started to get nervous as the park sign stated that we were in bear country. Wanted to purchase bear spray. I thought that as long as I could outrun my companions that I would be safe. In the end, we ended up buying the spray. I just hope we never have the opportunity to actually use it.
Shakes and Flounder joined us today so we celebrated with a very nice dinner at the Chart House back down the mountain and very close to the “Sleeper” house. If you are not sure what that is, look it up – that’s what google is for.
