So apparently I’ve been spelling it wrong all these years.  Guess I was sick that day of elementary school.

We pulled into a gravel parking lot that passes as a campground called USI RV Park.  Good Sam (which we are members since we purchased the Busse Bus from a Camping World) approved campground.  I think that they need to re-evaluate  their criteria or maybe my standards have been raised from staying at the Twin Fountains in OKC.

The good news is that we were delayed in pulling out of Oklahoma due to heavy rains which we weathered inside the Busse Bus and started rolling four hours late so we didn’t have to get in any earlier.  I told Katrina that I never promised her a rose garden – there’s got to be a little rain sometimes (sorry, I’m dating myself here).

Note to self:  Make sure that the emergency door in bathroom is completely closed and locked or else it will rain inside of the Busse Bus.

We did get a late afternoon ride in.  I think that in our self-challenge that we are about tied in the mileage on bikes vs. jeep.  So far so good but mountains are in our immediate future and Katrina and I are used to riding the Illinois flat land.

Found a great little historic place for dinner called Stroud’s.  Known for fried chicken and family style with a bonus of homemade cinnamon buns for dessert.

The restaurant is built from an old barn, as you can see the silo in the picture.  We actually ate in an horse stall.

It kinda reminded Katrina of her horsing around years.
