So, we purchased a Newmar instead of the Tiffin. We thought that it fit us better after researching different brands.
We got a lot of the features that we were looking for in a slightly longer version. It had all of our must-haves and most of our nice-to-haves plus other features like heated floors that seemed stupid but in reality are really nice. We had to compromise on the look and feel of the coach because we had to purchase the unit off the lot instead of custom building it as our house sold much quicker than anticipated.
Cost is still king. We purchased a brand new, but 2017 coach due to price. We feel like we got a great coach at a fantastic price. We were able to negotiate the first year of the depreciation out of the purchase price. By the time we were ready to pull the trigger and actually sign on the dotted line (after we past inspection of our house) there were only five 2017 Dutch Star 4369’s left in the country. We ended up purchasing our unit at McGeorge RV near Richmond, Virginia. Katrina and I flew out to accept it and go through the four hour introduction to learn about all the features (so many that I soon forgot at least half of them).
Katrina flew home the next morning andI was left to drive our new house home by myself all 988 miles. Thanks Kat!
